A Family Christmas Party

We had a family Christmas party with my mom's side of the family last night. Here are a few pictures...and yes...that's me & Jaïr playing the guitar.

Hadrian's first Sinterklaas

Hadrian received his gifts from Sinterklaas the other day. I think he's excited about his chocolate letter!

It's beginning to look a lot like Chirstmas

Yesterday was the perfect day to get our Christmas tree. The weather was beautiful; cold, but sunny! Matthan loves being outdoors and so of course he loved getting our tree and helping us choose just the right one. Matthan also got some new boots yesterday from Nana & Papa, they look like alligators - the boots that is - and he really loves those too! In the evening we decorated the tree and I being the not very practical one, thought it would be fun for Matthan to help put the bulbs on. Well at first it didn't go too well, he was just throwing them towards the tree...yikes! But then we figured out a system, I would take the bulb out of the package, Matthan would take it over to the tree, which ever side he thought needed it, and then give it to Jaïr to put on the tree. It was fun! And now, officially our house looks decked out for Christmas, well at least the inside :)
